I’ve been watching episodes from 1961 of the very short-lived (14 episodes) CBS series ‘WAY OUT. It was dark and disturbing, and was a lead-in for a few months to THE TWILIGHT ZONE. Roald Dahl was the host. And the music was provided by Robert Cobert, who was later to do the music for DARK SHADOWS. All of the episodes reside at the Paley Museum in Manhattan, but a good handful are accessible for watching online.
